We provide the platform services on which applications run, along with the platform support covered by your SmartWorx arrangement.
The provider defines the application’s capabilities, license, price, supported changes and update arrangements. It is responsible for application support, whether delivered by its own team or a support partner it designates.
Review the listing, select the services you need and agree who will handle setup, administration and ongoing application changes.
A provider may offer billing through SmartWorx or bill you directly. The listing and purchase agreement identify the available route, the seller and the applicable terms.
Where offered, the application charge is collected through the SmartWorx marketplace. Your purchase details identify the billing contact and the terms that apply to that transaction.
The application is still the provider’s offering. Marketplace billing does not turn it into a SmartWorx-supported application.
You arrange the application purchase and payment with the provider. Its offer identifies the price, billing schedule, invoice contact and terms.
Your SmartWorx platform and hosting arrangement remains separate from that application purchase.
Application support follows the provider. Use the support team or channel designated in the listing, whichever billing route you choose.
The application, platform, hosting and optional services are different parts of the overall cost. Each should be clear before you commit.
